It’s That Easy!
It’s funny: the real estate business is not traditionally viewed as intractably complex. But from a customer relationship management perspective, it is perhaps the most difficult of all. While a grocer might interact with a customer once per week as they pay for their weekly shop, a real estate agent has to manage multiple customer relationships, all of which are at different stages in the buying process, and some of which interact with each other.
Wise Agent is a company which provides a CRM tool targeted explicitly at the realtor market. The company hopes that with its software, estate agents will be able to manage the customer experience better and generate more conversions.
Wiseagent has got a tough job on its hands. Real estate agents have to manage headaches that you don’t usually see in other industries. Take the “chain of buyers” problem. What you buy at the grocery store doesn’t affect what somebody else can buy, but if a buyer pulls out of a sale in the real estate market, it can have knock-on effects up and down the buyer/seller chain creating an administrative nightmare. It’s the job of real estate CRM to solve that problem and make life a little easier (and more productive) for agents.
Wiseagent focuses on increasing automation. The company wants to reduce the amount of time that each agent spends interacting with customers while at the same time improving the quality of those interactions. Wise agent says that its platform not only helps to convert more customers but also enables realtors to achieve the lifestyle they want.
But is any of this true? Can Wise Agent deliver on its promises? For worried people, there is a 30-day free trial on both the monthly and annual packages. But what can the platform offer than you might not be getting from your current CRM setup? And how does it integrate with our very own Drop Cowboy?
The primary function of any CRM real estate tool is to manage contacts. For most CRM software, that’s a relatively straightforward requirement, but in the world of real estate, it’s a little more complicated. Real estate sales rely on knowing as much about your customer as possible. The more you know, the better you can match them to properties that they will want to buy.
Wise Agent is a real estate CRM tool with precisely this in mind. The contact management system allows you to store practically any data you collect on a customer that you like, even down to the name of their dog (because even that might be valuable information for making the sale).
The Wise Agent contact management platform also allows you to see who is referring clients to you. The tracking software shows you which of your customers are sending additional customers your way (giving you the opportunity to reward them and make more referrals in the future).
At the core of the Wiseagent CRM software is lead automation. The purpose of lead automation is to take the sometimes difficult task of finding and converting leads out of the hands of agents and putting it into the software.
Although that might sound a bit ambitious, it turns out that software is uniquely suited to the task of following up customers and finding out more about their current position in the sales pipeline. How? Wiseagent says that its real estate CRM can automate much of the text and email marketing process, and auto-respond to customer inquiries.
After Wise Agent login, you can find tools on the platform that enable you to customize the way that you respond to leads depending on their source. So instead of presenting customers from all platforms with a generic response, the Wiseagent tool gives you the ability to tailor your message depending on your audience. Not only is this more personable, but it also feels more natural. Once a customer has signed up on a particular platform, you’re then able to add them to your “call later” list automatically, and the software will remind you to do so in due course.
What about analytics? How does Wiseagent real estate CRM perform there? The software goes to great lengths to provide you with the information you need to see how your lead conversion process is executing. You can see where your leads are most likely to come from, the quality of the leads that you’re getting and the stages of the buying process where you’re losing potential customers.
Another important part of lead automation is the ability to direct incoming leads to particular agents. Realtors need a way of allocating all those leads to specific people in a way that will (hopefully) maximize conversions. Rather than do this manually, which would be highly labor-intensive, Wise Agent gives you tools to determine how you want to split your leads between staff. You can direct leads in practically any way you like depending on things like day of the week, zip code, price range, round-robin or on a first-come-first-served basis.
Part of the appeal of any good CRM software is the ability to market to your customers right from the platform itself. Wiseagent excels here too.
The first way the software helps realtors is by providing them with template emails that they can then send out to customers. These pre-written stock templates can be quickly customized, allowing agents to take advantage of snap deals or inform customers of the arrival of a new property within just a few minutes of it hitting the market.
The platform also grants the ability to send emails with signatures that make it easier to promote a real estate brand. Realtors can choose between either copying and pasting an existing signature into the system or creating their own from scratch natively. Wiseagent gives you a choice.
Finally, Wiseagent creates a newsletter every month. All customers have to do is perform their Wise agent login and then wait for the newsletter to arrive on the specified day. The newsletter comes in both English and Spanish and contains up-to-date information about the state of the real estate market. What’s so interesting about the newsletter is that agents are free to edit it as they see fit before sending it out to their customers. They can leave it as it is or add their own text and listings, depending on their current situation.
Although it might sound like a bit of a gimmick, the monthly newsletter is one of Wiseagent’s most popular features. Having a third-party create branded emails helps to reduce the time spent by your staff on the tricky business of creating engaging newsletters. You get the template and then send it off to customers as your own.
No CRM real estate tool is complete without the ability to create useful landing pages. However, to our surprise, many tools still do not provide this essential feature. Wise Agent is different. The company offers a landing page editor as part of its CRM package which it claims enables realtors to create bespoke landing pages and post them anywhere on the internet within minutes. The landing pages contain all the usual goodies, like space for high- quality images, calls-to-action, and signup sheets.
Managing your time effectively as a real estate agent can be a challenge, but Wiseagent provides a slew of helpful CRM real estate tools to help you. Perhaps the most important of these is the in-built calendar. The calendar syncs with Google Calendar and shows you what you’re doing and when. Because the platform is cloud-based, you can share calendar entries with other members of your team and attach relevant documents to particular events. All team members have to do is enter their Wise Agent login and click the calendar tab.
The software also wants to help you better manage your tasks. The “task list” is a common feature of realtor CRM tools. It allows you to set the priority level of the job, how much time you think it should take, and send email or text reminders to team members about when it should be started or completed.
One of the most helpful features of the task manager is its ability to be associated with a particular contact in your list. The software creates a history of tasks related to a specific customer, allowing you to see what you’ve done for whom and when.
In conclusion, Wiseagent is a competent CRM tool for realtors. It provides all the basics, and it does them well. However, because the firm is not yet using AI to a substantial degree, it doesn’t push the bleeding edge of what’s possible. The company needs to focus more on automated customer follow-up and suggestions for agents on who they should contact next. There also needs to be a concerted effort to integrate the software with more third-party online real estate sales platforms to prevent agents from getting buried under a mountain of tabs. This software is recommended for agencies that focus on a lower volume of high- quality sales.
